Dr. Seung Kim is an associate professor of radiology and of surgery, Washington University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, in 1995. He completed his medical training with a diagnostic radiology residency and abdominal radiology fellowship, both at Samsung Medical Center of the Sungkyukwan University School of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. He also did interventional radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. Dr. Kim is an interventional radiologist who specializes in interventional oncology such as chemoembolization, radioembolization, microwave ablation and cryoablation. Other areas of interest include uterine fibroid embolization, Lymphagiogram, dialysis intervention and portal hypertension interventions. He serves as a reviewer for several radiology journals. He published several papers on international peer reviewed journals on radiologic science. Outside of work, he likes to travel and enjoys golf and tennis.
