Assoc Prof Gerard S Goh is the Head of Interventional Radiology at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor for Monash University and an Honorary Fellow for the National Trauma Research Insitute, Australia.
Assoc Prof Goh is the President of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia and Executive Committee member of the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. In addition he is a council member of the European Board of Interventional Radiology for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe and a council member for the Faculty of Clinical Radiology for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
In addition to a strong interest in research he has been involved with numerous clinical trials and first in human trials. He has given over 150 invited presentations, been involved with 43 workshops and authored 3 book chapters. He is an associate editor for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology.
