Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy
Born in Florence in 1989 I was raised in a quite independent, middle-class family. Thanks to my father that is an international businessman I was pretty fast introduced in a vibrant multi-cultural environment. My interest in classical subjects, as well as scientific ones, led me to study in a classical high school where I deepened my knowledge of old Greek and Latin together with chemistry and physics. Therefore, at the end of it, Medicine seemed the most suitable choice as one that could put together my interests for the humanities and science in a broader aspect. I studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence for 6 years but during this period, I always tried to widen my international perspectives, and consequently, I spent one year at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain as an exchange student and then I prepared my last-year final dissertation following another exchange period at Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom. Along the years, I developed an interest in Radiology and for its clinical applications in the Interventional field. This is the reason I enrolled in the Radiology Residency Programme in Milan where I am currently a third-year resident doing his best to learn and to succeed in this interesting and demanding path.
